Club Meeting Dates [Important]

After consulting the chart and taking everybody’s schedules into consideration, we have decided that the fairest way to decide the meeting dates is to change them from week to week. If you cannot make it to a meeting one week, it’s not a big deal and the day will change for the next meeting.

This system requires work on your part to frequently check the website for these meeting announcements. We will try to update the bulletin board outside of room 3 with the meeting date every week but sometimes, we may forget. But we will always post the meeting dates on the blog as soon as possible.

NEXT WEEK’S MEETING DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST. All meetings begin at 12:25.

For the next meeting, please make sure you’ve read chapters 1 and 2 of Philosopher’s Stone. Until then, please start using the forum for pre-discussion on the chapters and post some topics/questions you have of the chapter that you would like to discuss at the meeting.

  1. Why are we doing mondays? As I recall, everyone was busy on mondays. Plus, I recruited new members who can’t do mondays

    • They didn’t sign on the sheet that they couldn’t do Mondays. Hang on, I’ll discuss it with Chelsea.

      • There was a huge number of people who were busy on Thursdays, so we couldn’t do it then, and Anne and I have a field trip during lunch on Friday. Wednesday was the next least busy day, and most of the people who say they can’t attend on Wednesday can come on Monday, so it works out better that way. There weren’t that many people who couldn’t make it on Monday. Plus it’ll change every week, so no worries.
